A huge second half run charged the Cincinnati Bearcats to a 92-56 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers in the regular season finale!

Bearcats forward John Newman III finished with 14 points on Senior Day, while Daniel Skillings Jr scored a game-high 17 points in the victory.

Cincinnati held a 36-29 lead at halftime before outscoring West Virginia 56-27 in the second half to finish the regular season with a bang.

Wes Miller's team improved to 18-13 with the runaway win and will look to keep the season alive in the Big 12 Tournament next week!

During a recent press conference on Saturday, Miller reflected on the Bearcats impressive win against West Virginia via Cincinnati Athletics.

“This group has been an absolute joy. Not just to coach but to be around every day. They all work their ass off and really care about the program."

In addition to totaling a 37-23 rebounding edge, the Bearcats scored 48 points in the paint and 27 points off turnovers against West Virginia.

With a chance to go on a run in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament, Cincinnati will reunite with West Virginia in the opening round on Tuesday!
