After coming back from an opening half deficit, the Cincinnati Bearcats suffered a 80-76 loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Wednesday.
Cincinnati went on an 8-0 run to take a 52-50 lead in the second half but the Cowboys were able to respond and eventually secure a win.
It appeared the Bearcats were going to snap a recent home losing skid but Oklahoma State went onto surge ahead in the final minutes.
Wes Miller's team was hoping to avoid a third consecutive loss on their home court before falling to 16-10 and 5-8 in conference play.

Despite owning a 44-40 points in the paint edge and 32-26 rebounding advantage, Cincinnati just wasn't able to outlast Oklahoma State at home.
The Bearcats were also fueled by center Jamille Reynolds and guard Jizzle James combining for 20 points and four rebounds off the bench.
With a chance to get back into the win column, Cincinnati will try to pull off an upset against TCU and move to 17-10 on Saturday afternoon.
