Cincinnati product and Bearcats senior shooting guard CJ Fredrick reportedly revealed a decision to return for a final season on Wednesday night!

Fredrick racked up 6.1 points on 42.6% shooting from 3-point range but played in only 15 games in his first season with Cincinnati due to injury.

The former Covington Catholic High School star began his career at Iowa before joining Kentucky and eventually coming to the Bearcats last year.

With a chance to finish his career on a high note, Fredrick will look to stay healthy and make a key impact for his hometown program next season!

Cincinnati is led by returners Simas Lukosius, Jizzle James and Dan Skillings Jr, along with transfers Dillon Mitchell and Arrinten Page!

Mitchell was a dynamic 5-star prospect coming out of Montverde Academy and is now the 22nd highest rated transfer according to 247 Sports.

Skillings scored a team-best 12.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game including posting 25 points in the Big 12 Tournament victory over Kansas!

The inaugural Big 12 campaign came to an end with a 22-15 record after Cincinnati was ousted by Indiana State in the annual NIT quarterfinals.
