Cincinnati native and Bearcats senior forward Jillian Hayes took home All-Big 12 honors with the postseason scheduled to start this week!
Following the inaugural season competing in the conference, the Bearcats will face the rival UCF Knights in the Big 12 Tournament first round.
Hayes helped lead Cincinnati with 12.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, while racking up double-figure scoring 16 times in Big 12 play.
The Bearcats are looking to outlast UCF and advance to take on West Virginia in the Big 12 Tournament second round on Friday evening.

Cincinnati secured two impressive victories over UCF in recent months including a 67-61 road win against the former AAC foe in early February.
Despite struggling in the first Big 12 campaign the Bearcats will have an opportunity to go on a memorable run in postseason play this week.
It will be key for the Bearcats to slow down UCF star guard Kaitlin Peterson after she compiled a season-best 35 points at Cincinnati in January.
Make sure to preview the upcoming matchup as both programs continue to prepare for their first appearance in the annual Big 12 Tournament!
