During a pregame press conference, Bearcats head coach Wes Miller previewed the must-see matchup with Houston per Cincinnati Athletics.
"I've learned coaching against Kelvin Sampson's teams at Houston. I have a high level of respect for how they go about doing their business."
The Bearcats will look to snap a 9-game losing streak versus Houston including a blowout loss in the AAC Tournament semifinals last season.

Cincinnati Basketball: Preview for the Bearcats matchup with rival Houston
Cincinnati improved to 15-7 with an impressive 75-72 win over Texas Tech, while Houston fell to 19-3 following a 78-65 loss at Kansas last week.
Houston will be the 8th most-played opponent in Bearcats program history including 47 previous meetings and playing every season since 2014.
Players to watch include Cincinnati duo Simas Lukosius and Daniel Skillings Jr, who put up a combined 30 points in the win at Texas Tech!
The Cougars are fueled by backcourt LJ Cryer, Jamal Shead and Emanuel Sharp, plus forward Ja'Vier Francis and center J'Wan Roberts.
