Arkansas transfer tight end Francis Sherman is on the verge of joining the Cincinnati Bearcats after verbally committing on Tuesday evening!

Sherman started his career with three seasons at Louisville alongside Scott Satterfield and will reunite with the former Cardinals head coach.

The Ohio native racked up 40 receiving yards and one touchdown in his career and is set to have just one season of eligibility remaining.

With a chance to finish his career on a high note, Sherman should add depth to the Bearcats tight ends group following a pair of recent losses!

Cincinnati defensive back trio Rayquan Adkins, Jayden Davis and Jabril White, along with tight end Payten Singletary opted to enter the portal.

During his senior campaign with the Bearcats, Singletary totaled a career-best 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 10 appearances.

It appeared Singletary was going to be in the mix to land the Bearcats starting tight end job before he decided to transfer elsewhere in recent days.

Stay tuned for the latest recruiting updates and transfer portal rumors as the Bearcats coaching staff continues to put together the 2024 roster!
