Cincinnati Football: Bearcats add Wisconsin transfer defensive end Darian Varner

After deciding to transfer last month, Wisconsin Badgers defensive end Darian Varner committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats on Sunday morning!
During his lone campaign at Wisconsin in 2023, Varner racked up five tackles and one fumble recovery in 11 appearances this season.
The Virginia native is the 39th ranked defensive lineman in the transfer portal per 247 Sports and will add depth to the Bearcats defensive front.
Varner compiled 7.5 sacks en route to receiving All-AAC First Team recognition with Temple in 2022 before transferring to Wisconsin last year.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats add Wisconsin transfer Darian Varner
East Carolina transfer defensive back Antione Jackson is considering the Bearcats and is expected to visit campus in the coming days.
Jackson compiled 19 total tackles, three pass break ups and one interception throughout his recent freshman campaign at East Carolina.
Other transfer additions for Cincinnati include Grambling State running back Chance Williams and North Texas defensive back Logan Wilson!
Wilson had 112 tackles and three interceptions in the past two seasons at North Texas, and is expected to have one year of eligibility left.
