Cincinnati Bearcats veteran quarterback Emory Jones announced his decision to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft via social media in recent days!
During his lone campaign at Cincinnati, Jones compiled 2,219 passing yards and 560 rushing yards to go with 22 total touchdowns in 2023.
Jones began his career with Florida and played at Arizona State before joining the Bearcats last year and eventually earning the starting spot.
The Georgia native isn’t projected to be picked in the upcoming draft but Jones will have a chance to impress NFL scouts at Pro Day in mid March.

After scoring seven total touchdowns during his Bearcats debut, Jones struggled to find success for most of the disappointing regular season.
Despite finishing with just a 3-9 record in Scott Satterfield’s first year, the Bearcats were able to pick up the first Big 12 win in program history.
Jones racked up 140 yards and one touchdown to help Cincinnati outlast Big 12 rival Houston 24-14 during the historic victory in November.
The Bearcats could replace Jones with Indiana transfer quarterback Brendan Sorsby or turn to junior Brady Lichtenberg under center in 2024!
