California product and former Idaho cornerback Ormanie Arnold announced that he is planning to transfer to the Cincinnati Bearcats in 2024!

Arnold spent two seasons at Idaho including a breakout campaign in 2023, totaling 33 tackles, five pass breaks up and two interceptions.

Despite playing in limited action as a freshman, Arnold showcased his impressive potential this year and will have three years of eligibility left.

The Bearcats incoming transfer cornerback will join Rayquan Adkins, Kalen Carroll and Jordan Young as returning cornerbacks next season.

As the initial transfer portal window continues this month, the Bearcats added several notable players including a trio of standout defenders.

Cincinnati received a commitment from former Ohio State defensive back Kye Stokes, who will still have three years of eligibility remaining.

During the past two years with the Buckeyes, Stokes racked up 12 total tackles, one forced fumble and one tackle for loss in 11 outings.

Chicago native and former Northern Illinois edge rusher George Gumbs revealed he will transfer to Cincinnati with multiple years of eligibility!

During a breakout campaign this past season, Gumbs compiled 34 tackles, 3.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 12 games with the Huskies.

Gumbs is an intriguing addition for the Bearcats after he was moved from wide receiver to edge rusher at Northern Illinois less than a year ago.

The Simeon High School product was a 3-star prospect according to 247 Sports, and chose Northern Illinois over multiple MAC schools.
