The Cincinnati Bearcats have been named as contending schools for four different recruits this past week. All four of the recruits are 4-stars who are part of the class of 2026.

Kayden Allen is the No. 51 overall recruit in the class of 2026 and announced his top seven schools on July 28. Allen named Cincinnati along with California, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and UCF.

Allen will be taking an Official Visit to Cincinnati on August 23, his first official visit to any of the teams named among his top 7. Being from Zephyrhills, Florida, Allen is expected to attend either UCF, Florida State, or Georgia Tech, as they are the closest to home.

At 6-foot-5, 205 pounds, Allen is one of the more true wing players in the 2026 recruiting class. Allen is an extremely gifted shooter, slasher, and defender, and will make a significant impact at whatever school he ends up attending. Allen is a can't-miss prospect and will be college ready the day he steps foot on a campus.

On July 21, Chris Washington Jr. announced his top seven schools as well. Standing at 6-foot-8, 200 pounds, Washington is the No. 1-ranked player in Tennessee and the No. 31 player in the class of 2026.

Cincinnati was named in Washington's top seven alongside Auburn, Villanova, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Florida A&M.

Washington Jr. attends Providence Christian Academy in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he averaged 15.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game last season. He also shot 31.9% percent from three-point range.

Washington Jr. only has one official visit scheduled at the moment, to Alabama on September 6. He is expected to schedule a visit to the remaining six schools he named in his top seven.

4-star recruit, Jalan Wingfield, announced his top 8 schools on July 30th and included the Cincinnati Bearcats among them.

The 6-foot-7 power forward is the No.6 player in Georgia and just missed the top 100, coming in at 104 in the class of 2026.

The Bearcats are mentioned alongside Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Florida State, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, and Kennesaw State.

Wingfield is expected to head to Georgia Tech or South Carolina, being from the state of Georgia and having ties to the Gamecocks.

Julian Washington, an unranked player from Ohio who is part of the class of 2026, announced his top 10 schools on July 27.

Cincinnati was mentioned alongside Florida Atlantic, Butler, Dayton, St. Louis, VCU, Northern Iowa, Toledo, Virginia Tech, and Xavier.

Cincinnati is hosting Washington on a to-be-determined date that has not yet been finalized.

Washington is from Castalia, Ohio, which is just outside of Sandusky on Lake Erie. Being from Ohio and so close to the lake leads people to expect he will either go to Toledo, Dayton, or Cincinnati.

Washington is very under-ranked for what kind of offers it holds and the visits it will be going on, as he goes into his senior season, he is likely to jump and end as one of the top prospects in Ohio.
