The Cincinnati Bearcats play their second game of the season tonight against the Georgia State Panthers. They opened as 25.5-point favorites, which has now grown to 29.5, the largest spread in a game featuring Cincinnati since 2017 against Arkansas Pine-Bluff.

The Georgia State Panthers lost their first game of the season to Eastern Michigan 71-49 as part of the Sun Belt vs MAC challenge. The Panthers shot 29.3% from the field and 30.4% from three-point range, something you don't see teams do a ton.

Last season, Georgia State went 14-19 overall and 8-10 in the Sun Belt, finishing eighth. The Panthers are projected to finish the season close to that, returning two starters from last season and bringing in 6 players through the transfer portal.

The Cincinnati Bearcats defeated Western Carolina by 31 points in their opening game, which makes sense, considering a team that lost by 22 points to EMU is favored to lose by 30. The Bearcats tip off at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
