The Big 12 college basketball media is just around the corner, taking place on Wednesday, October 22nd, in Kansas City. Wes Miller is bringing two-year starter Day Day Thomas, and transfers Moustapha Thiam and Kerr Kriisa with him to Missouri as well.

The Media Days should give us a good look into what the Jalen Haynes injury timeline looks like and who will have an increased role with his absence. Along with what the Bearcats are already doing to prepare for matchups against the Dayton Flyers and Louisville Cardinals early in the season.

We should also hear some initial thoughts about their upcoming scrimmage against the Michigan Wolverines this Friday. Wes Miller has already commented on the upcoming game, saying: "Fans hate to hear this kind of stuff, but it's true: we are not ready to play basketball." Michigan is a top 15 team according to the preseason AP Poll and KenPom, and could expose some issues for Cincinnati.
