Jizzle James has been surrounded by a lot of rumors and controversy regarding his status as a Cincinnati Bearcat for the upcoming season. It started in May when he was thought to be entering the transfer portal; these rumors were shut down. In continued, then in July, he was thought to be off the Cincinnati Bearcats basketball team. The rumor that surfaced hasn't been proven false 100%, so what's going on with James?
James is more likely than not to play for the Bearcats this upcoming season. It would be difficult for him to leave the Bearcats and have a viable option for success in 2025.
After the rumors that came out on July 17th, James wasn't seen at any Cincinnati Bearcats Basketball events, putting only more fuel into the fire. Along with no official announcement from the team on what seems to be going on, it only has fans thinking the worst.
Just a couple of days ago, James was seen in Houston training with Rashard Lewis, Orlando Magic Legend. James is also from Orlando, and they may have fostered some sort of relationship with James' dad's connections.

If James is away from the team for whatever reason, he seems to be taking steps in the right direction. Getting help from a well-known professional basketball player on how to conduct yourself is great improvement.
James was the Bearcats' leading scorer last season and is a vital part of the Bearcats having success this season. Lets hope we see him back with team.
