Tom Groeschen pointed out that the Bearcats achieved a goal that had not been reached since 2003. The sad thing is I was a student at UC at the time and I forgot about this feat, shame on me. Around 11 years ago the Bearcats had two 100-yard rushers and Friday against Tulane the Bearcats achieved this feat again.
Last time #UC had 2 100-yd rushers in one game was 2003, Derrick Eddington (138) and Richard Hall (117) vs. ECU

Friday night Rodriguez “Rod” Moore and Mike Boone both ran for over 100 yards apiece. Moore led the way while playing in his home state with 124 yards and Boone had 113 yards. They both had this output with 15 carries, Boone scored the only touchdown out of the backfield mates. The team as a whole ran for 265 yards against Tulane.

With Gunner Kiel going out after one play (Munchie Legaux filled in nicely) it was good to see the running game pick up the slack when needed. Moore and Boone have been a nice combination during the last few weeks. These two have adapted well to the new playing time made available by the injuries to Hosey Williams and Tion Green.
The Bearcats won 38-14 to move to 5-3 on the season and 3-1 in the conference. Shoutout to Moore and Boone for their good performance.
