College Football: Week 14 in the AAC

facebooktwitterreddit

Last week the Bearcats defense played its best game of the season. They made UConn look like a high school team. It’s crazy to see the improvement and ever since the Memphis beat down they have been the most consistent team in the AAC. UCF made easy work of SMU last week to keep them in the AAC title hunt. Memphis also beat South Florida to keep them in the hunt also. UCF and Memphis are the teams that Bearcats fans have to keep an eye because if we want to win the title outright we need both of them to lose if not it there will be a three-way tie for championship and boy does #BearcatNation know about sharing a conference championship.

Let’s check out the game in the AAC this week.

Friday 11/28

UCF @ South Florida, ESPN 2, Noon
Houston @ SMU, CBS Sports Network, Noon
East Carolina @ Tulsa, ESPNU, 8:30 PM

Saturday 11/29

Cincinnati @ Temple, ESPNEWS, Noon
Connecticut @ Memphis, ESPNEWS, 4 PM

Of course I will be watching the UC/Temple game, the Bearcats need to keep rolling in Philly. Temple has been anemic on offense hopefully we keep them that way on Saturday. #BearcatNation will be UConn and South Florida fans this weekend as they play UCF and Memphis respectively. UC needs both teams to lose before the end of the season, maybe this weekend is the weekend it happens? #BearcatNation we have games to pay attention to on Friday and Saturday, hopefully next week we have a good report.
