Saturday the Cincinnati Bearcats will collide with the Virginia Tech Hokies in the Military Bowl at 1 PM in Annapolis, Maryland. The game will be shown on ESPN.
Chris has done a great job at giving all of the Bearcats fans excellent previews of the game against the Hokies. So, if you haven’t checked out the previews I’m going to load a few links in this post so you can catch up.

Saturday will provide an opportunity they weren’t able to accomplish with two previous chances earlier in the year. What might that be? A chance to be a Power 5 conference team. We all know the Hokies are having a down year, but at the end of the day a Power 5 win is a Power 5 win I don’t care if the Hokies limp to Annapolis if the Bearcats can take care of business this will look good on the schools resume. The Hokies have had a Jekyll and Hyde type of year highlighted by beating Ohio State early in the season. The Bearcats didn’t have their best performances against Ohio State and Miami losing both games at a large deficit.
Two things going in the Bearcats favor heading into the game Saturday are: the improved play of the defense and emergence of a running game. These two things will give the Bearcats a great chance to knock off the Hokies on Saturday.
Let’s get that Power 5 win to cap off a great season and also let’s finish the season with 10 wins.
