In the regular season finale, Cincinnati is scheduled to host Tulane on Friday at noon with a chance to secure a spot in the AAC championship. The game will be available to watch on ABC and fuboTV.
All the Bearcats need to do is take down Tulane and the AAC championship game will come to Nippert Stadium for a third straight season. A loss would likely eliminate Cincinnati from contention though.
Tulane players to watch include junior quarterback Michael Pratt, junior running back Tyjae Spears, leading receiver Shae Wyatt, and senior linebacker duo Nick Anderson and Dorian Williams.
Spears is third in the AAC with 996 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns and an impressive 11.4 yards per carry this month. Pratt has 2,220 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and just four interceptions this season, while Williams leads Tulane with 93 tackles.

In front of a sellout crowd at Nippert Stadium, the Bearcats will look to clinch a spot in their fourth consecutive AAC title game. During a midweek press conference, Luke Fickell looked ahead to the must-win matchup per Cincinnati Athletics.
"“I do want to recognize our guys did a really good job of handling the entire week. Not just because they knew what was ahead of them this week, playing for all the marbles, but I thought they walked into an environment that was going to be tough. I thought they did a really good job with preparation for it. They came out and did what we needed them to do. Obviously this week is huge. It’s for everything. This is the start of the championship. This is what we prepare for and it’s Senior Day. Yes it’s for an opportunity to play for a championship but it’s also for these guys that have meant so much to me and this entire program.”"
