The early signing period is officially here as the Bearcats begin to welcome in the 2023 recruiting class with expected commitments from 4-star quarterback Brady Drogosh and multiple others!

In addition to signing several talented commits including 3-star safety Jayden Davis and 3-star offensive lineman Evan Tengesdahl, Cincinnati is hoping to flip a few recruits from other schools.

Scott Satterfield’s new-look coaching staff is targeting 4-star Louisville commit Adonijah Green, 3-star Louisville commit Rayquan Adkins, 3-star Nebraska commit Barry Jackson and more.

Despite the recent coaching change, 3-star defensive lineman Kamari Burns, 3-star running back Manny Covey and 3-star defensive lineman Brian Simms III are scheduled to sign on Wednesday.

The Bearcats are expected to add a couple in-state recruits from Ironton High School as 3-star linebacker Trevor Carter and 3-star wide receiver Ty Perkins will sign a national letter of intent.

3-star offensive tackle Joshua Gregory is still committed to Cincinnati but Luke Fickell is making a push for him to flip to Wisconsin so we won’t know a definitive decision until later in the day.

Even though the class was damaged by Fickell’s departure, the Bearcats are set to bring in plenty of skilled prospects with long-time commits like Carter, Drogosh and Tengesdahl still in the mix.

Make sure to keep up with Cincinnati’s latest commitments as the early signing period gets going on Wednesday with program-altering announcements from prospects across the country!

Cincinnati Football: 3-star Jayden Davis decommits from Louisville after Bearcats visit

2023 3-star defensive back Jayden Davis decommitted from Louisville last night and is expected to consider the Bearcats after having a recent visit with defensive coordinator Bryan Brown.

The senior safety received an offer from Cincinnati on Tuesday then met with Brown and Bearcats new linebackers coach Derek Nicholson the following night before decommitting on Thursday.

After originally committing to Louisville in early February, Davis decided to reopen his recruitment when head coach Scott Satterfield accepted the job at Cincinnati on Monday morning.

Davis is the 45th ranked safety in the nation and the 46th highest rated prospect from Georgia per 247 Sports. He also has offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan, TCU, Tennessee and more.
