Cincinnati is coming off a last-second victory over UCF on Sunday afternoon, while Temple bounced back from a 4-game losing streak with a blowout win against last place Tulsa.

Despite losing three straight games against Temple, the Bearcats opened as 8.5-point favorites with the over/under currently placed at 138.5 total points according to WynnBET.

Both teams are tied in the AAC standings with a 9-6 record so the winner will take over sole possession of fourth place with the conference tournament just over two weeks away.

In the most recent meeting between the programs, Temple came away with a 70-61 win on New Year’s Day as Jahlil White dominated the Bearcats with a team-high 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Wes Miller’s team must contain White this time around and Ody Oguama will be key in keeping him under control alongside Jeremiah Davenport, Landers Nolley II and the entire defense.

Since starting center Viktor Lakhin went down with a sprained right ankle, Oguama has stepped up with 13.8 points and 7.8 rebounds on 82.8% shooting from the field in the last four games!

Other players to watch in the upcoming matchup include Owls backcourt duo Damian Dunn and Hysier Miller, plus sophomore forward Nick Jourdain and sophomore big man Jamille Reynolds.
