After matching up just over a decade ago, the Cincinnati Bearcats are preparing to play the Utah Valley Wolverines for the second time in school history tonight in the NIT quarterfinals.

The only previous meeting between the programs took place on December 11, 2010 as Rashad Bishop and Cashmere Wright led the Bearcats to a 92-72 win over Utah Valley in Cincinnati.

Bishop scored a game-high 17 points and two assists on 7/7 shooting from the field, while Wright compiled 15 points and four steals. Yancy Gates added 14 points and three rebounds in the win.

Wes Miller’s team advanced to the NIT quarterfinals with an impressive 79-65 win at Hofstra on Saturday. Nolley notched a game-high 20 points and six rebounds to led the way.

Utah Valley is coming off an 81-69 win against Colorado in the NIT second round on Sunday evening as Woodbury finished with a game-high 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
