Just over a week after the season came a conclusion, Bearcats senior power forward Ody Oguama revealed his decision to use his extra year of eligibility and return to Cincinnati next season!
After moving into the starting lineup midway through the regular season, Oguama became an integral part of the frontcourt due to his defensive versatility, energy and rebounding ability.
Oguama averaged 5.5 points and 5.4 rebounds on 57.6 percent shooting from the field last season, highlighted by a career-high 18-point outing in a win over South Florida in February.
The former Wake Forest forward showed significant improvement during his second year with the Bearcats and should have a chance to contribute alongside center Viktor Lakhin next season.

Nolley will participate in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in April followed by the NBA Draft Combine in May before making a final decision on if he will return to college next year.
Wes Miller’s team is expected to bring back several key players including Lakhin and Oguama but Nolley returning would be a monumental boost for the Bearcats heading into the Big 12.
