Cincinnati Basketball: Most realistic transfer portal targets for the Bearcats this offseason

There are several talented transfer portal targets for the Bearcats including TCU center Eddie Lampkin, Washington guard Keyon Menifield and Western Kentucky center Jamarion Sharp!

Lampkin will make a decision on Sunday between Arkansas, Cincinnati, Colorado, Georgetown, Memphis and Xavier. The 6’11 center averaged 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds at TCU last season.

Menifield earned All-Pac 12 honors at Washington after scoring 10.0 points and 3.1 assists last year. The freshman guard has received interest from Alabama, Duke, Louisville, Xavier and more.

Sharp has one year of eligibility left after putting up 7.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.1 blocks as a junior. The 7’5 center reportedly heard from Arkansas, Gonzaga, Memphis, Missouri and others.

Cincinnati Basketball: Most realistic transfer portal targets for the Bearcats this offseason

Temple transfer center Jamille Reynolds is another potential target as the Bearcats look to make a splash in the portal. Reynolds had in-home visits with Cincinnati, Kansas and Mississippi State.

Following his freshman year at Auburn, former 5-star prospect Yohan Traore entered the portal and is receiving interest from the Bearcats alongside Alabama, Oklahoma, Memphis and TCU.

Another big man being recruited by the Bearcats is Marshall freshman Micah Handlogten. The 7’1 center from North Carolina also heard from Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio State, West Virginia and more.

Cincinnati Basketball: Potential transfer portal additions as the Bearcats prepare for the Big 12

With one year of eligibility remaining, former Florida State and Houston point guard Caleb Mills has reportedly been contacted by Arkansas, Cincinnati, Memphis, South Carolina and more.

Other possible transfers targets include former Georgetown guard Brandon Murray, Louisville forward Jae’Lyn Withers, Michigan center Hunter Dickinson and Virginia forward Kadin Shedrick.

The Bearcats are set to bring back several key players but adding a transfer and senior forward Landers Nolley II returning would be an enormous boost heading into the Big 12 next season!
