Kentucky native and 2025 5-star combo guard Jasper Johnson received interest from Cincinnati and several other notable schools in recent days!

Johnson is set to transfer to Link Academy next season, where he will play alongside Bearcats commit and 2024 4-star center Tyler McKinley.

Heading into his junior campaign, Johnson is the top ranked recruit from Kentucky and 3rd highest rated combo guard according to 247 Sports.

Since the direct contact period started earlier this week, Cincinnati was the first coaching staff to reach out to the dynamic guard prospect.

Just hours after the direct contact period began this week, the Bearcats extended an offer to 2025 5-star power forward Alier Maluk.

Maluk recently received interest from several programs including Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Villanova and others.

Prior to his junior season at Imani Christian Academy, Maluk is the 2nd highest ranked recruit from Pennsylvania according to 247 Sports.
