Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats officially scheduled to face in-state foe Dayton in December

After a recent press conference, the Bearcats are officially scheduled to face in-state foe Dayton on December 16 at Heritage Bank Center!
Dating back to the first meeting that took place more than a century ago, Cincinnati has played Dayton the second-most of any program.
The most recent matchup between the former conference rivals occurred in 2010 as the Bearcats secured a 68-34 win over Dayton.
Wes Miller’s staff added several transfers including centers Aziz Bandaogo and Jamille Reynolds, plus guards CJ Fredrick and Simas Lukosius.

Bandaogo became one of the most sought-after players in the transfer portal due to his elite athleticism, size and shot-blocking ability.
Fredrick averaged 10.2 points and 2.8 assists per game during his freshman season at Iowa en route to earning All-Big Ten recognition.
Lukosius posted 11.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in his sophomore campaign, highlighted by a career-high 28 points against Villanova.
Reynolds started his career at UCF before transferring to Temple last season, where he put up 10.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats announce upcoming matchups against non-conference foes
Cincinnati recently revealed a couple of non-conference matchups against Detroit Mercy and Eastern Washington for next fall.
Following the season opener against Detroit Mercy in November, the Bearcats will face Dayton, Northern Kentucky, Xavier and others.
