Cincinnati Basketball: Nasty Nati faces a tough test against The Money Team in TBT opening round
After falling to the Fort Wayne Champs in the first round a year ago, Nasty Nati is hoping to go on a run in the single elimination event.
Nasty Nati consists of nine former Bearcats headlined by Troy Caupain, Jarron Cumberland, Jacob Evans, Tre Scott and Keith Williams.
Other players that will participate include Coreontae DeBerry, Mamoudou Diarra, Octavius Ellis, Deshaun Morman and Shaq Thomas.
The Xavier Regional will get going on Friday afternoon at the Cintas Center, followed by the $1 million championship game in August.

Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats alumni team will officially return to annual TBT event this week
A pair of former Bearcats players Landers Nolley II and Tre Scott competed in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League in recent days.
Caupain and Evans picked up All-AAC First Team recognition in 2016, while Cumberland received the 2019 AAC Player of the Year.
During his senior season with at Cincinnati, Caupain averaged 10.5 points per game en route to taking home All-AAC recognition.
The former Cincinnati standout is expected to play for Nasty Nati in the tournament alongside fellow Bearcats alumni this week!
