Cincinnati alum Troy Caupain will continue his professional career after signing a contract with Spanish club UCAM Murcia last week!

During his senior campaign with the Bearcats, Caupain posted 10.5 points per game en route to receiving multiple All-AAC honors.

Following a stint with the Orlando Magic, Caupain played in several countries including Belgium, Germany, Israel, Italy and Turkey.

The former Cincinnati standout is set to represent Nasty Nati in The Basketball Tournament this week alongside fellow Bearcats alumni.

Bearcats alumni team Nasty Nati is expected to compete in the annual TBT event for a second year in a row on Friday evening!

Nasty Nati consists of eight former Cincinnati athletes, highlighted by Jarron Cumberland, Jacob Evans, Tre Scott and Keith Williams.

Other players that will participate for Nasty Nati along with Caupain include Coreontae DeBerry, Octavius Ellis and Shaq Thomas.

The tournament will be played in eight different regions including Dayton, Louisville, Lubbock, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Xavier.

Caupain and Evans picked up All-AAC First Team recognition in 2016, while Cumberland was named 2019 AAC Player of the Year.

Nasty Nati lost to the Fort Wayne Champs in the first round last summer and Cashmere Wright replaced Corie Blount as head coach.

The Xavier Regional will get underway on Friday afternoon at the Cintas Center, followed by the $1 million championship game in August.
