According to a recent report from CBS Sports insider Jon Rothstein, the Bearcats have scheduled a pair of matchups against ACC foe Georgia Tech.

Cincinnati is set to host the non-conference matchup this upcoming season before traveling to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech the following year.

The most recent meeting against Georgia Tech was in the 1996 NCAA Tournament as Danny Fortson fueled the Bearcats to an 87-70 win.

With a berth in the regional final on the line, Fortson compiled 12 points and 16 rebounds to help Cincinnati outlast Stephon Marbury and company.

Cincinnati recently announced upcoming non-conference matchups against Detroit Mercy and Eastern Washington are scheduled for next fall.

Following the regular season opener against Detroit Mercy in early November, the Bearcats will meet Dayton, Georgia Tech, Xavier and others.

Georgia Tech is led by first-year head coach and former NBA star Damon Stoudamire, alongside transfers Amaree Abram and Kowacie Reeves.

The annual Crosstown Shootout matchup against rival Xavier is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 9 at the Cintas Center.

After a recent press conference, the Bearcats are officially scheduled to face in-state rival Dayton on December 16 at Heritage Bank Center!

Dating back to the first meeting that occurred more than a century ago, Cincinnati has played Dayton the second-most of any opponent.

The most recent matchup between the former conference rivals was in 2010 as Dion Dixon scored 20 points in a 68-34 win over Dayton.

Wes Miller’s staff recently added four transfers including centers Aziz Bandaogo and Jamille Reynolds, plus guards CJ Fredrick and Simas Lukosius.
