Bearcats alumni team Nasty Nati had their run come to an end in a 72-66 loss against Friday Beers in TBT quarterfinals on Monday night.

Nasty Nati was able to battle back from a double digit deficit before eventually falling short as Friday Beers advance to the semifinals.

Tre Scott compiled a team-best 21 points and two rebounds in his TBT debut but it wasn’t quite enough to fuel Nasty Nati to a victory.

With an opportunity to stay alive in the annual single elimination tournament, Nasty Nati came up just short against a talented opponent.

Jarron Cumberland continued to play at a high level with 14 points and five assists but Nasty Nati wasn’t able to overcome a slow start.

The semifinals will get started in Philadelphia on Wednesday night, followed by the $1 million championship game this weekend.

Cincinnati Basketball: Nasty Nati falls just in a disappointing 72-66 loss against Friday Beers

After falling to the Fort Wayne Champs in the first round last summer, Nasty Nati proved they can compete for a title this time around.

Jacob Evans posted nine points and six rebounds in the disappointing loss, while Keith Williams totaled nine points in his TBT debut.

Nasty Nati is expected to return for a third straight tournament next summer and should have a chance to make some noise again.
