Cincinnati Bearcats commit and 2024 3-star running back Jakorion Caffey scored two touchdowns in a blow out win on Friday night.

During a victory over McKinley High School, Caffey scored an 11-yard touchdown in the first half and a 5-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

The Avon native announced his verbal commitment to Cincinnati in late June and will add depth to the Bearcats backfield next season and beyond.

Scott Satterfield’s coaching staff continues to construct the 2024 recruiting class around several talented prospects including Caffey.

A couple of Bearcats 2024 commits tight end Gavin Grover and wide receiver Kale Woodburn impressed in their season debuts last week!

Both prospects committed to Cincinnati in the spring and will bring intriguing ability to the Bearcats passing attack following this season.

Grover racked up seven catches for 120 receiving yards, highlighted by a 26-yard touchdown as Olentangy secured a 46-35 win over Whitmer.

Woodburn displayed his athleticism with an impressive touchdown catch to help fuel Houston County to a 56-12 win in the season opener.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats pick up commitment from 2024 3-star running back Jason Patterson

Florida product and 2024 4-star running back prospect Jason Patterson announced his commitment to the Bearcats in early August.

Heading into his senior campaign at Sneads High School, Patterson is the 25th ranked running back in the country according to 247 Sports.

Patterson took a visit to Cincinnati last month before eventually committing to Cincinnati over Kentucky, Rutgers, Vanderbilt and others.

The dynamic running back recruit discussed his decision to commit to the Bearcats during an interview this month via Bearcat Journal.
