During their time in the Big East Conference, the Cincinnati Bearcats played Pittsburgh in the River City Rivalry every season from 2005-2012.
Memories of epic battles from the Big East are sure to resurface as the programs prepare to face off for the first time in more than a decade.
The most memorable finish took place in 2009 as Cincinnati used a 21-point come back to clinch a second straight conference championship.

Following three consecutive losses in the River City Rivalry, Cincinnati responded with four wins in the final five meetings from 2008-2012.
