Despite showing significant improvement last year, the Cincinnati Bearcats hope to find more success during Wes Miller’s third season at the helm!

Following an upcoming game against Illinois-Chicago next month, Cincinnati will take on Dayton, Georgia Tech and Xavier before Big 12 play starts in January.

The Bearcats are led by veterans Viktor Lakhin, Ody Oguama, John Newman III and Dan Skillings Jr, plus transfer additions CJ Fredrick and Simas Lukosius.

With a chance to secure an NCAA Tournament berth for the first time since 2019, Cincinnati is looking to improve on a 23-13 overall record from a year ago.

Cincinnati is set to host the defending tournament conference champion Texas Longhorns in the first ever Big 12 game at Fifth Third Arena on January 9.

During a recent press conference, Miller previewed the looming regular season and reflected on the offseason roster changes per Cincinnati Athletics!

Miller was ranked the 74th best coach in the nation according to Busting Brackets and is attempting to help end the current NCAA Tournament drought.

The Bearcats will face the BYU Cougars in the Big 12 opener on January 6, followed by road trips to Baylor, Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech, UCF and others.

Cincinnati constructed an intriguing 2024 recruiting class following commitments from talented 4-star forward Tyler Betsey and center Tyler McKinley.
