Former Cincinnati Bearcats forward Landers Nolley II has signed with AEK Basketball Club in Athens, Greece. After playing his final season at Cincinnati in 2022-23, averaging 16.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, he went undrafted in the NBA Draft. He signed with the Philadelphia 76ers Summer League team in 2023 before joining the Pelicans G-League team, the Birmingham Squadron, for the 2023-24 season. Nolley has had stints playing basketball in Venezuela as well as playing for Aris Thessaloniki in Greece in 2024-25 where he was teammates with former Cincinnati Bearcats guard David DeJulius. Nolley played in Taiwan in the 2025-26 season and is now headed back to Greece to play with the AEK Basketball Club.
Multiple players from the 2022-23 Bearcats team are currently still trying to find a role with themselves on a team. DeJulius is currently playing in Turkey for Beşiktaş Fibabanka; Viktor Lakhin was last on the Sacramento Kings Summer League roster but played overseas in Puerto Rico last year. Dan Skillings Jr. played last season for Scott Drew and the Baylor Bears and was recently granted another year of eligibility. He is currently in the transfer portal looking for his new team.
Nolley II played for Hsinchu Toplus Lioneers of the Taiwan Professional Basketball League last season. In 10 games, he averaged 32.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 3.1 steals, being one of the best players in the TPBL for the short time he played in it. His performances are likely the reason he got the chance to play in the Greek Basketball League, which is one of the better leagues in Europe.
