After suffering an overtime loss at Oklahoma, the Cincinnati Bearcats got back on track in a win against the West Virginia Mountaineers!
Cincinnati held a 36-29 lead at halftime before outscoring West Virginia 56-27 in the second half to finish the regular season with a victory.
In addition to totaling a 37-23 rebounding edge, the Bearcats scored 48 points in the paint and 27 points off turnovers against West Virginia.
With a chance to go on a run in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament, Cincinnati will reunite with West Virginia in the opening round on Tuesday!

Bearcats forward John Newman III put up 14 points on Senior Day, while Daniel Skillings Jr posted a game-high 17 points in the big win.
Following a blowout victory against Big 12 foe West Virginia, Newman explained how it felt to be honored in the Bearcats annual celebration.
“It was great with just so much love everywhere. I wanted to leave a legacy here and I could feel the love so it was just a special moment for me."
Wes Miller's team improved to 18-13 with the resounding win and will try to keep the season alive in the Big 12 Tournament next week!
