A pair of notable players from the transfer portal have been contacted by the Cincinnati Bearcats coaching staff throughout the last several days!

North Florida guard Chaz Lanier alongside Texas power forward Dillon Mitchell are among the top transfer players to be connected to the Bearcats.

Lanier earned interest from plenty of prominent programs along with Cincinnati including Duke, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Villanova and more!

The Nashville native spent four years at North Florida and scored a team-high 19.8 points on 44.0% shooting from 3-point range last season.

Mitchell was a coveted 5-star prospect coming out of Montverde Academy and is now the 22nd ranked transfer in the portal per 247 Sports.

The former Texas forward put up 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds in his sophomore season with the Longhorns before deciding to enter the portal.
