Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats slated to host San Francisco in NIT first round

After coming up just short of securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament, the Cincinnati Bearcats are slated to compete in the NIT going forward!
Cincinnati advanced to the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals and will take on the San Francisco Dons on Wednesday night at Fifth Third Arena.
San Francisco is led by star forward Jonathan Mogbo (14.4 points and 10.2 rebounds) along with Texas A&M transfer Marcus Williams.
The winner will go onto play Bradley or Loyola Chicago in the second round and remain alive for a berth in the NIT semifinals in early April.
