Despite entering the game as slight favorites, the Cincinnati Bearcats suffered a setback in a frustrating loss to the Iowa State Cyclones.
It was a golden opportunity to secure a notable win over 10th ranked Iowa State but Cincinnati wasn't able to get the job done this time around.
The Bearcats will look to get back in the win column on a road trip to face the conference rival UCF Knights on Saturday afternoon.

Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats suffer a setback in frustrating loss to Iowa State
Cincinnati committed 14 turnovers throughout the opening half and went onto finish with the most turnovers (25) in a game since 2006.
During the postgame press conference, Miller showed his frustration following the lackluster performance at home via Cincinnati Athletics.
Iowa State finished the first half on an 11-2 run to take a 34-26 lead into the locker room before eventually pulling away early in the second half.
The Bearcats fell to 15-9 after a second straight loss as the NCAA Tournament aspirations seem to be slipping away with just seven games left.
