Cincinnati Bearcats veteran trio Aziz Bandaogo, John Newman III and Daniel Skillings Jr earned All-Big 12 postseason recognition on Sunday!

Bandaogo racked up 12 points and 10 rebounds in the Bearcats first Big 12 win in early January and averaged a team-high 1.6 blocks per game.

Newman recorded seven games with multiple steals throughout conference play en route to taking home All-Big 12 defensive team honors.

Skillings compiled a team-high 12.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game including putting up 17 points in the regular season finale on Saturday!

Following a blowout victory against Big 12 foe West Virginia, Newman explained how it felt to be honored during the Senior Day celebration.

“It was great with just so much love everywhere. I wanted to leave a legacy here and I could feel the love so it was just a special moment for me."

Newman put up 14 points, six rebounds and four assists to help the Bearcats run away from West Virginia 92-56 during the regular season finale.

With a chance to go on a run in the upcoming Big 12 Tournament, Cincinnati will reunite with West Virginia in the opening round on Tuesday!
