Cincinnati Basketball: Nasty Nati set to host annual TBT at Fifth Third Arena

Cincinnati Bearcats alumni team Nasty Nati is set to host The Basketball Tournament at Fifth Third Arena for the first time from July 19-24!

Following an impressive run to reach the TBT quarterfinals last year, Nasty Nati will look to compete for a championship this summer too.

Nasty Nati leading scorers and former Bearcats standouts Jarron Cumberland and Jacob Evans will play for a third consecutive tournament.

"None of this would be possible without the Bearcats fan base," said Nasty Nati general manager Kevin Johnson in recent days.

After falling to the Fort Wayne Champs in the opening round in 2022, Nasty Nati proved they can truly compete for a title last time around.

Cumberland contributed a team-high 22.8 points per game, while Evans racked up 19.5 points per game to help fuel Nasty Nati's run a year ago.

Nasty Nati went on a memorable run last year that consisted of three straight wins to secure a spot in the quarterfinals before being eliminated.
