Cincinnati Football: Bearcats right guard Luke Kandra receives All-American recognition

Cincinnati Bearcats veteran right guard Luke Kandra received Associated Press All-American recognition following his first season since joining the program!
Kandra revealed his decision to return next season alongside the rest of the Bearcats starting offensive line, star running back Corey Kiner and more.
The Cincinnati product has picked up several postseason accolades in recent weeks including All-Big 12 First Team and Walter Camp All-American honors.
With a chance to play at his hometown school, Kandra decided to follow head coach Scott Satterfield and transferring from Louisville to Cincinnati last year.

All five of the Bearcats starting offensive linemen announced their decision to return in 2024 after fueling one of the Big 12’s best rushing attacks!
Cincinnati offensive linemen Deondre Buford, Gavin Gerhardt, John Williams and Dartanyan Tinsley are officially set to come back next year with Kandra.
Despite struggling offensively at times throughout this season, the Bearcats much improved running game ranked among the nation’s most dominant.
Kandra was mentioned as the highest-graded right guard in the country along with multiple notable offensive linemen according to Pro Football Focus.
