Cincinnati Basketball: 2025 5-star forward Sadiq White schedules unofficial visit in September

Charlotte native and 2025 5-star power forward Sadiq White announced he is scheduled to take an official visit to Cincinnati in September.

Prior to his junior campaign at Myers Park High School, White is the highest rated recruit from North Carolina according to 247 Sports.

Several other notable programs are targeting the rising prospect alongside Cincinnati including Alabama, Florida State, Syracuse and more.

White will be in town for the Bearcats first-ever Big 12 conference opener against Oklahoma on Saturday, September 23 at Nippert Stadium.

After the direct contact period got underway last month, White received interest from Alabama, Duke, Texas, North Carolina and others.

During a recent NCBCA Team Camp, White posted an impressive 17.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game on 58% shooting from the field.

The North Carolina product displayed an intriguing combination of athleticism and size, which should translate to the next level.

Wes Miller’s staff will continue to target him but White is the currently projected to commit to South Carolina per On3 Recruiting.

Following the start of the direct contact period in June, 2025 4-star small forward Jacob Wilkins received interest from Cincinnati.

Georgia native and 2025 4-star forward Tylis Jordan heard from multiple programs in recent weeks including the Bearcats.

Kentucky prospect and 2025 5-star combo guard Jasper Johnson was contacted by Cincinnati and several other schools.
