Cincinnati latest commit and 2024 3-star running back Jason Patterson discussed his decision to join the Bearcats in a recent interview!
Following the commitment, Patterson joined fellow Bearcats running back commit Jakorion Caffey as part of the 2024 recruiting class.
Going into his senior campaign at Sneads High School, Patterson is the 25th ranked running back in the country according to 247 Sports.
Patterson took a visit to Cincinnati last month before committing to the Bearcats over Boston College, Kentucky, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats pick up commitment from 2024 3-star running back Jason Patterson
After competing at the camp last week, 2024 3-star defensive back Quinton Price announced his commitment to Cincinnati!
Heading into his senior season at Taft High School, Price is the 49th highest rated prospect from Ohio according to 247 Sports.
Price received a scholarship offer from Cincinnati in December and recently competed in the Bearcats summer camp in July.
The Cincinnati product verbally committed to his hometown school over Kentucky, Purdue, Syracuse, West Virginia and others.

A pair of hometown products competed in the Bearcats camp last week including Lakota West 2025 3-star linebacker Grant Beerman.
During an interview with Bearcat Journal contributor Keegan Nickoson, Patterson broke down his commitment to Cincinnati via 247 Sports!
"“I felt like that’s where I could be developed the best, on and off the field. He told me I was their guy. As the head coach, he calls the plays so him saying I’m the guy, that tells you I’m the guy. I’m a little bit of everything. I can be a downhill back and a scat back. I can do everything.”"
