Cincinnati Bearcats product Hayden Koval signed a contract with Japanese professional club Shinagawa City in recent days!
During his only season with the Bearcats, Koval scored a season-best 13 points and four rebounds to help take down Wichita State.
Koval played for head coach Wes Miller at UNC Greensboro and decided to join Cincinnati prior to his graduate campaign in 2022.
The former Bearcats center posted 14.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game for the BK Iskra Svit in Slovakia last season.

Bearcats product David DeJulius is set to continue his professional career after signing a deal with Greek club Lavrio BC this month!
DeJulius became a go-to playmaker and scoring option during his Cincinnati career en route to earning back to back All-AAC honors.
Lavrio BC competes in the Greek Basket League and DeJulis should have a chance to earn a significant role in his rookie season.
The Detroit native transferred to the Bearcats in 2020 and quickly became an integral part of the program throughout his career.

Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats alum Troy Caupain signs contract with professional club in Spain
Cincinnati alum Troy Caupain will continue his pro career after inking a contract with Spanish club UCAM Murcia this summer!
During his senior campaign with the Bearcats, Caupain took home multiple All-AAC honors after scoring 10.5 points per game.
Following a stint with the Orlando Magic, Caupain played in several countries including Belgium, Germany, Israel, Italy and more.
The former Cincinnati guard represented Nasty Nati in The Basketball Tournament last month alongside fellow Bearcats alumni.
