Former Cincinnati Bearcats forward Baba Miller is rising even more on draft boards significantly after his standout performance at this year's NBA Draft Combine. Miller was originally projected as a late second-round pick, going as high as No. 45. Mock drafts now have him going as high as potentially No. 25 and he is ranked within the top 25 on some NBA Draft big boards.

This past season at Cincinnati, Miller averaged 13.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, leading the Bearcats in all three categories on the way to a second-team All-Big 12 selection. Standing at 6-foot-11, with a 7-foot-3 wingspan and 9-foot-3 standing reach, Miller also possesses the physical ability to be an impact-defender and rim protector in the NBA. There is no big man that Miller cannot hypothetically compete with from a physical or athletic standpoint.

Miller shot 52.9% from the field this past season but struggled from three-point range, shooting 19.2% on the season on about one attempt per game. Miller's ascension in the draft is likely to be because of his shooting upside, improving from his percentage last season during combine workouts. Miller shot extremely well from three-point range during the combine, hitting 3 of 3 shot attempts from deep.

A certain NBA fanbase has been expressing their interest in Miller online, saying things like "I'd choose Miller at 25 over Chris Cenac" and "Baba Miller, aka baby Jaden McDaniels." The Los Angeles Lakers currently hold pick No. 25, which is the earliest Miller has appeared in any mock draft.
