Bearcats Basketball: Out-of-conference schedule close to finalized

With the college basketball season just around the corner and more teams releasing their out of conference schedule, the Cincinnati Bearcats should be releasing there any day now. Bracketeer, a college basketball publication that tracks teams schedules has the current Bearcats out of conference schedule plus the games and dates that are still looking to fill.

At home, the Bearcats will be playing American University in their opening game on Nov. 2nd before taking on South Carolina State on a game that is TBD but will be played before the Nov. 9th game against Minnesota which is part of a home-and-home scheduled earlier this month. After the Golden gophers the Bearcats will host Youngstown State, where Jerrod Calhoun coached at before Utah State on Nov. 18th. The have a game against UMass-Lowell that is TBD but is going to come before a Dec. 2nd game agiainst an opponent that is TBD. The Dec. 5th Crosstown Shootout against Xavier comes before to games that are TBD against Stetson and Marist. The Bearcats will end their out of conference home slate on Dec. 29th against an opponent that has not been announced.

The Bearcats have one true road game scheduled against the Dayton Flyers at UD Arena on Nov. 14th apart of a home-and-home series that is likely to be renewed into a yearly rivalry. The Bearcats will be participating in the ESPN Events Invitational, taking on Boston College on Nov. 26th which is Thanksgiving and against Georgia on Nov. 27th. The Bearcats have a neutral site game against Clemson which is supposed to take place at Heritage Bank Center in downtown Cincinnati, but does not yet have a date announced.
