Cincinnati Football: Bearcats coaching staff takes center stage in Spring Game
By Charles Post
A series of offseason additions to the Cincinnati Bearcats coaching staff will take center stage in the annual Spring Game on Saturday at noon!
Cincinnati defensive coordinator Tyson Veidt and running back coach Sean Dawkins joined the coaching staff prior to spring practice.
Dawkins spent the last two years at Memphis and has over 15 years of experience coaching running backs with Charlotte, Troy and others.
Veidt is expected to run a 3-3-5 defense that will include three safeties and should put more of an emphasis on the secondary moving forward.

Cincinnati decided to hire Veidt because former defensive coordinator Bryan Brown accepted a job at his alma mater Ole Miss in late January.
Scott Satterfield discussed the hire of Dawkins and explained what he will add to the Bearcats revamped coaching staff in a press release!
“Sean is a tremendous coach. He had success at every stop. I'm excited for him to get started working with our staff and running back room."
The Bearcats coaching staff continues to build the 2024 roster with plenty of notable transfer portal pick ups within the past several months!
